Inspired ERP has added improvements to managed item visibility and customer pricing behavior within the customer portal and customer maintenance screens.

These updates help ensure customers only see the inventory items and pricing specifically intended for their account.

Customer Portal Item Visibility

Within the customer portal, customers can now view only items assigned as managed items for their account. This allows companies to control which products appear to each customer while preventing unrelated inventory from being displayed.

Managed items are maintained directly from the customer setup area within the system.

Customer Pricing Visibility Improvements

The customer portal now only displays the currently active list price and the currently active customer-specific price. Historical pricing, inactive pricing, and pricing belonging to other customers are not displayed.

This helps ensure pricing visibility remains accurate and customer-specific.

Managed Item Maintenance

The managed item maintenance mode allows internal users to assign or remove items available to a customer. This mode focuses strictly on item assignment and visibility management.

Users can view assigned items only, view all items, assign items to customers, and remove assigned items. Pricing maintenance is intentionally separated from this process to improve clarity and reduce confusion.

Customer Pricing Maintenance Improvements

Pricing maintenance screens were also updated to improve how pricing data is displayed. Depending on the mode and search criteria used, the system now properly limits pricing visibility to only the relevant customer and active pricing records.

This helps prevent unrelated customer pricing from appearing during maintenance and review workflows.

Better Portal Control for Customers and Internal Users

These improvements give businesses better control over what customers can see in the portal while also making internal maintenance clearer. Customers see the items and pricing intended for them, and internal users have a more focused process for managing customer item visibility.

This supports ERP software for the food industry, customer portal workflows, food distribution, cold storage, and inventory-driven customer service operations.
